About Kari

Kari Cooper is an Account Executive in the Leland office at FinPoint Insurance. With a background rooted in education and real estate, Kari brings a diverse skill set to the Commercial Lines team. Before entering the insurance industry in 2021, she spent over two decades in English education, serving as a middle and high school teacher, college prep instructor, and program coordinator. She also worked as a realtor in the Triad Area of North Carolina. Originally from California, Kari lived in Arizona before settling in North Carolina in 2007. Outside of work, she enjoys beach walks, swimming, reading, writing, crafting, cooking, and exploring local restaurants. She lives with her husband, Mark, and their two tabby cats, Morgan and Brandy.
