About Shane

Shane Vaczy is an Account Executive with FinPoint Insurance Group, based in the Southport office and serving clients throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Originally from Lynn, Massachusetts, Shane relocated to North Carolina in 1993 and graduated from South Brunswick High School in 1994. With more than a decade of customer service experience from Verizon’s Call Center, along with experience working with State Farm and Allstate, Shane brings a strong background in helping people navigate their insurance needs. He joined FinPoint in June 2025.

Outside of work, Shane is a lifelong Boston and New England sports fan and an avid traveler. He has completed 18 cruises, with cruises number 19 and 20 already planned for 2027. He enjoys live music, comedy shows, local sporting events, and exploring new places.

Most importantly, Shane enjoys spending time with his wife, Renee, their children, and their four dogs—including two giant Schnoodles, a Husky, and a Saint Bernedoodle. He especially loves being a grandfather and spending time with his granddaughter and grandson.
