About Shane

Shane Vaczy is an Account Manager on our Personal Lines team, based in the Southport office. Originally from Lynn, Massachusetts, Shane relocated to North Carolina in 1993 and graduated from South Brunswick High School in 1994. He brings more than a decade of customer service experience from Verizon’s Call Center and has also worked with State Farm and Allstate. Shane joined FinPoint in June 2025.

A lifelong Boston and New England sports fan, Shane is also a seasoned traveler with 17 cruises under his belt. He enjoys live music, comedy shows, and local sporting events. Outside of work, you’ll find him spending time with his wife Renee, their children, and their four dogs—including two giant Schnoodles, a Husky, and a Saint Bernedoodle. He’s also looking forward to welcoming his second grandchild later this year.
