About Steve

Steve Smith is an Account Manager on the Commercial Lines team at FinPoint’s Airlie office. Having spent over 25 years in the insurance industry with roles at key companies such as Nationwide Insurance and Horace Mann Insurance, he has built up a strong knowledge in Personal Lines. The focus is now shifting to also include Commercial Lines. A UNCW alumnus, Steve has lived in Wilmington on and off for many years and joined FinPoint in August 2022. Known for his approachable demeanor and strong client relationships, he helps businesses navigate their insurance needs with clarity and confidence. Outside of work, Steve enjoys playing music and drums, attending live concerts, and spending time on the water, at the beach, and with his family and friends.
